Hello, and thank you for visiting third room studio! This is a blog about my progression from casual dalliances in art to a permanent painting practice. I write regularly about interiors, design, and my passion for op-shopping. Occasionally I also write about other projects dear to my heart, such as renovating furniture and other home projects.

Third room studio - literally the third room along the main corridor of our home, which for a very long time had been a storage facility for everything we owned but didn't really use, with a small corner carved out for my casual artistic pursuits. These days this room is very much a dynamic and well loved artist's studio, complete with paint on the walls and floor (which I'll deal with later!). It's from this humble studio that I paint as much as I can get away with.
